Children's Workshops
Do you enjoy meeting dancers, musicians, and other artists? Do you like finding out what they do?
Have you ever wanted to ask them questions? Do you like to try new things? If you're heading for the matinee performance, join us beforehand in the intimate setting of the NYCB rehearsal studios and make the performance more meaningful for the whole family.
Children's Workshops are 45-minute pre-performance programs designed for children age four and above. They are guaranteed to enhance your appreciation of what your family sees on stage.
Note: Performance tickets must be purchased separately.
Although Children's Workshops are appropriate for children age four and above, it is New York City Ballet's Children's Attendance policy to not admit children under the age of five to repertory performances. This policy does not apply to performances of
George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker™.
