Actually, ballet is for everybody. But, if you’re young, and like to spend time on the computer learning about new things, or want to spend time with Mom or Dad trying to stump the NYCB quizmaster, this is the place to be.

The Ballet Alphabet might just surprise you with what you find. It was written and is narrated by Dena Abergel, a member of the New York City Ballet corps de ballet and this ballerina has some surprises up her toe shoe!

Most everyone has a family album and here, too, you will find an album, actually a timeline with pictures, which will tell you all about the life of George Balanchine from his birth in Russia to his life and work in America. He founded New York City Ballet and did many other important creative things as well throughout his career. His life was really very exciting.

If you enjoy crossword puzzles or word games you will find them here. Some of the questions are hard for grownups and even for dancers and ballet teachers. So get all the help you can. We promise you will have fun and become very smart about the world of ballet.
