Background

Tabitha Rinko-Gay was born in Nashua, New Hampshire.  She began studying ballet at the age of 5 at the American Academy of Dance in Houston, Texas.  When she was eleven, Ms. Rinko-Gay studied at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet.  In September 2005, Ms. Rinko-Gay began studying at the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet, and was asked to join the Company as an apprentice the following June.  Ms. Rinko-Gay become a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet in June 2007.
